Asian Cup 2000, Qualifying tournament 10-2-2000 Nepal VS YemenIn the previous meeting, Yemen beat Nepal by 3 goals and at that time Upendra Man Singh was the team captain and team goalkeeper. Singh is now a goalkeeping coach of National Football Team and can he take the revenge against Yemeni. The current FIFA ranking of Nepal is 160 and Yemen is in 185 ranks, though Yemen looks inferior on the basis of FIFA ranking, Nepal should not take them lightly. Nepal will test some fresh talented in this friendly match namely Karna Limbu, Bijaya Dhimal and Ashim Jung Karki. Meanwhile, Jumanu Rai and Anil Gurung will try their best to score goal in order to catch Hari Khadka and Nirajan Rayamajhi, both had scored 13 goals and are the leading goal scorer of Nepal.
