Highest Nepali goal scorer in the international tournament.

The Nepal national football team represents Nepal in international tournaments, and its governing body is the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA). The Nepal I football team is not very popular or successful in international tournaments. It is due to poor infrastructure, poor facilities for players, and not much investment in football. Nepali football does not have the vision and passion to be a successful team in South Asia, Asia, and around the world. Thus, they lack much international experience, practice, and participation. Therefore, the national football team has less experience and goals in football.

Some of the highest Nepali goal scorers are as follows:

Unlucky Footballers in Nepal

Unlucky footballers in Nepal

Today we are going to share something extra and new content, though Nepali football is yet to kiss success in international matches there are some players who really got talent and showed the same in national level matches but they failed to perform well in international matches. Here are some of footballers who are really unlucky in international matches

a) Ramesh Budhathoki: He was the ace footballer of Nepal who started his football career with Sankata Club then joined Friends Club and Three Star Club before joining Mahendra Police Club (Nepal Police Club).  His outstanding performance led Three Star Club and Nepal Police Club many trophies and won many individual prizes including man of the match, best player, best forward. He was the key player who led Nepal Police Club to the final of AFC President Cup 2007 and he scored 61 goals in domestic league and more than century goals in knock out tournaments. Though he was selected every time for international matches he was not given enough time to play the matches. He hardly play international matches as he was substituted in second half like 75 minutes, 80 minutes sand it was very little time for him to perform his quality. He was second choice striker (behind new comers) even though he did outstanding performance. We would say Nepal is unlucky and Nepali coach was unlucky as Mr. Budhathoki was not properly utilized.

Problems in Nepali Football Club

2014-04-26
Even though All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) claims the Nepali league structure to be semi- professional, most of the clubs lack regular sources of income and thus far to turn professional.  Almost every A Division Football Club from the Kathmandu Valley is paying Rs 10,000 to Rs 60,000 per month to a Nepali football player, whereas foreign players remunerated 800 Dollars to 1500 Dollars. Most clubs were found to have approximated Rs 50, 00000 to Rs 120, 00000 for their single season. However, except recently relegated clubs, New Road Team (NRT) and Ranipokhari Corner Team (RCT) along with seven time league champions Manang Marshyagdi Club (MMC), Friends Club, Sankata Club, Jawalakhel Youth Club, Saraswoti Youth Club, Nepal Police Club, Nepal Army Club and Armed Police Force do not have regular income source to maintain their expenses.
