Indonesia beat Nepal by 2 goals

National Football Team was beaten by Indonesian Football Team by 2 goals in a friendly match played on Wednesday on 25th June 2014 at Indonesia. Samsul and Hendro Siswanto scored for Indonesia in the 5th minute and 82nd minute respectively. Winning sides had started the match in good note and they took an early lead in the 5th minute to utilize a poor defensive line of Nepal and poor goalkeeping of Kiran Kumar Limbu to make 1-0 up against Nepal. It was Jumanu Rai who did a first attempt from Nepal in the 9th minute but his chip ball from outside the box went inch over the bar. Jagjeet Shrestha’s free kick in the 19th minute was wasted by Sagar Thapa due to his poor header.

Nepal was lucky to not concede goal in the 28th minute and Nepali’s custodian Kiran Kumar Limbu was smart enough to deny Indonesian when all Nepalese defenders were completely beaten. Nepal looked confident even they conceded an early goal they played energetic football but they lacked good coordination between their forwards and midfielders. In the second half Indonesian looked recharged and they played attacking football and gave immense pressure to Nepali. Indonesian was unlucky in the 56th minute as their superb goal was ruled out offside. Nepali custodian Kiran Kumar Limbu did his smart save in the 75th minute to deny Indonesian forward, Shamsul’s powerful kick, skipper Sagar Thapa did blunder to allow Shamsul to do so.  Indonesian doubled their lead in the 82nd minute to punish poor defensive lapse in Nepali defender through Hendro Siswanto to make 2-0 up. In the 86th minute Sandip Rai’s low free kick was easily cleared by Indonesian defenders. In the remaining time, Nepal failed to cut the deficit and Yemen beat Nepal by 2 goals in a friendly match. Nepalese did not create any such notable chance in the second half they really lacked some creative, fast player in the field.
