USA won match

 Another host nation, United States of America won a match beating Paraguay 4-1. This is one of the best performance of USA in the tournament

Asian giant Australia also secured 3 points beating Turkiye by 2 goals. It was one of the unexpected result and Asian country is performing well and they are yet to lost the match.

Five time World Champions narrow scaped

 Five times World Cup Champions Brazil was narrow escaped from African giant Morocco. Morocco took a lead on 21st minute  and it was Saibari who almost hear broke Brazilians fans. however, Real Madrid star Vinicious Junior equalized on 32nd minute of the match. Match was competitive and Morocco was clinical and Brazil narrowly  escaped from defeat. 

Brazil was not organized and with this performance they cannot win trophy. 

Where as, Scotland won a match beating Haiti.

Host Canada earned point

One of the host nation of World Cup 2026, Canada secured 1 point stopping Bosnia. Host nation survived a late goal scored by C Larin on 78th Minute.

Qatar earned first ever point

 Asian country and 2022 World Cup host nation Qatar earned their first ever FIFA World Cup points with a dramatic 1-1 draw against stubborn nation Switzerland on 13th of June 2026. Qatar had lost all three matches even being a host nation. 

Breel Embolo scored for Switzerland through penalty kick on 17th Minute and Qatar equalized in the stoppage time and it was an own goal by M Muheim. The result was especially notable because Switzerland dominated much of the game, registering 26 shots, but Qatar's resilience earned them their first point ever at a World Cup finals.

It was a pride result for Asian country and in Group A, another Asian Giant South Korea secured 3 points beating Cheque Repulica. 

Mexico and South Korea won

 In the opening matches of Group A at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, both Mexico and South Korea won:

• Mexico defeated South Africa 2–0. Goals came from Julián Quiñones and Raúl Jiménez.
• South Korea defeated Czechia 2–1, coming from behind to win.
