In the second match of the day, Machhindra FC (MFC) beats Himalayan Sherpa Club (HSC) by 4-1 goals. Rajin Dhimal, Karna Limbu and Bishal Rai A scored in the 17th, 63rd, 84th and 79th minute respectively. MFC played good football from the beginning and Sherpa looked confused in the match. Machhindra took a lead in the 17th minute of the match when Rajin Dhimal’s superb free kick kissed the net. After they took a lead they played more attacking game and Bishal Rai A’s shot was well saved by HSC goalie Sagar Gurung in the 23rd minute of the match a minute later Karna Limbu’s right footed shot was again saved by goalie Gurung. Sherpa’s first good attempt came in the 26th minute of the match when Pukar Gahatraj’s 30 yard free kick was well handled by goalie. Machhindra got the good chance to double their tally in the 31st minute of the match but Karna Limbu failed to utilize it. In the second half MFC’s Uttam Gurung’s long range shot went inch above the post, Karna Limbu doubled their tally in the 63rd minute of the match. Sherpa looked confused in this match and they had just created a single move to score in the 76th minute of the match when Ibrahim scored a goal. In the 79th minute of the match Bishal Rai A tripled their lead utilizing Limbu’s pass. Karna Limbu again scored goal through spot kick in the 84th minute of the match to beat HSC. With this win, both clubs 11 points from eight matches winning team is in 4th position and latter one is in 6th position due to goal difference.

Three Star, Machhindra record big wins

Three Star Club (TSC) beats Ranipokhari Corner Team (RCT) to move second of the table in A Division League 2070 played on Monday by 3 goals to put more pressure on latter one to avoid relegation. Jagjeet Shrestha, African recruit Dodoz and star forward Santosh Sahukhala scored in the 15th, 29th and 59th minute respectively. Three Star have started the game in a good note and Dodoz’s shot went over the bar in the 7th minute of the match. RCT midfielder Shekhar Limbu’s powerful strike was well saved by goalie Kiran Chemjong in the 12th minute of the match. Jagjeet Shrestha utilizes a good pass from Santosh Sahukhala to score a brilliant goal in the 15th minute of the match. In the 18th minute RCT wasted a good chance when forward Amar Dongol failed to touch the ball inside the box in a free position. TSC doubled their lead in the 29th minute of the match when African recruit Dodoz scored through his left footed shot to punish goalie Dilip Chhetri for his poor goalkeeping. In the second half also TSC played attacking game and Jagjeet Shrestha’s free kick was hardly saved by goalie Dillip Chhetri in the 57th minute of the match. Santosh Sahukhala scored the third goal for TSC who utilized a good pass of Dodoz in the 59th minute of the match. Winning team played good football in this match to earn valuable 3 points to move second position with the 13 points from the seven matches and RCT in the bottom of the table with a point from eight matches.
