APF won

Armed Police Force (APF) beat Friends Club(FC) in ongoing A Division League 2070 BS  by a solitary goal thanks for Nabin Lama's Goal in 66 Minute. In the controversial   match Deepak Bhusal of Friends Club and Bishal Shrestha of APF were sent off in 83 Minute. Both were involved in fighting and both will miss upcoming each match.  APF begins with a win and this is the good start for APF in league.  FC has changed the captainship from Deepak Gurung to Deepak Bhusal and APF have better ball possession in starting time. Both teams are not playing good football we saw formal Sherpa and Jawalakhel player Sachindra Dhimal who joind APF this season. APF played good football after 20th minute and their ace forward Ganesh Lawati’s shot was edged the bar.

First half ended goalless draw and we saw some good moves from APF but FC looked dull. Nabin Lama scored a solitary goal for APF in 66th minute utilizing a good pass given by Anjan Bista. FC looked dumber and they were not interested to come back in to game after conceding goal. In the 82th minute Deepak Bhusal of FC and Bishal Shrestha of APF were involved in a brawl and both of them were red carded and both teams down to ten men. Official have added 9 extra minute in this match and FC did not try their best to come back in match and APF won crucial 3 points from this match.
Meanwhile Sankata Club (SC) and NMB Bank Machhindra Club (MFC) share a point in a goalless draw. This is the first round of the league and 2nd day of the league, which started at 3 pm at Dasarath Stadium. In the match, both teams were engaged in midfield battling up to 15th minute of the match. Sankata Club coach Raju Kaji Shakya were busy to instruct his boys in touch line on the other hand Machhindra Club foreign coach Johan Kalin looked silent in touch line. Sankata looked aggressive in first half of the match but failed to break opponents’ defense. In the 45th minute Sankata player Krishna Shakya took a brilliant free kick but his free kick went inch above the bar. In the second half, MFC looked aggressive and played attacking football from the beginning. In the 52nd minute Sankata custodian Pierre brilliantly saved Hem Gurung’s free kick. In the 54th minute custodian Pierre again made brilliant saved to deny Rajin Dhimal.  Sankata earned a free kick in the 70th minute but failed to capitalize the chance, Barsat Gurung’s free kick went too wide from the target.  Sankata got brilliant chance in the 86th minute but goalie Dinesh Thapa nicely cleared Krishna Shakya’s flicks. Both teams failed to utilize their chances and shared a point. Both have 1 point from 1 match and Machhindra’s campaign for winning league was satire by Sankata Club.  Good start for Sankata Club they have taken 1 point from good team and their rock hard solid should be appreciate for this draw.
