This is the second defeat in four games after beaten by   Samsung Jawalakhel Youth Club (JYC) 2-0 meant the holders are at eighth position with six points while Sankata is in  11th position.

In the first match, Three Star had them to blame for the unlikely outcome as they missed half a dozen scoring opportunities.  Jagjeet Shrestha’s pass was perfectly utilized by Santosh Sahukhala but Sankata goalie Pierre was alert enough to deny in the 4th minute of the match. In the 6th minute of the match goalie again denied Sahukhala’s low drive shot. Goalie Pierre was smart enough to deny Santosh Sahukhala’s on many occasions. First half ended a goalless draw. In the second half Jagjeet Shreshta’s shot was beautifully saved by Pierre. Three Star played an attacking game but was not succeed to score a goal. On the other hand, Sankata utilized only one chance to score the deciding goal in the 58th minute. With this loss defending champion Three Star have 6 points from four matches and winning team have 5 points from four matches. This was the big blow for Three Star and their defending title campaign was satire and they should not lose a single point in coming matches, but challenges are even tough because they have to face  Manang Marshaygdi Club, Nepal Police Club, Nepal Army Club and Himalayan Sherpa Club.
In the second match, Boys Union Club (BUC) registered their first victory in A Division League 2070; they beat Ranipokhari Corner Team (RCT) by 3-2 goals. Bindo Lama took a lead for BUC in the 30th minute of the match who utilized a good pass from Akeem but RCT cut the deficit 3 minutes later when Amar Dangol  beat goalie Raju Yogi in the 33th minute of the match. Dangol again took a lead in 45+2 minute who scored again due to poor goal keeping making 2-1 in favor of RCT in the first half of the match.
