Sarawoti and APF won

In the first match of A Division League 2070, Saraswoti Youth Club (SYC) beat Jawalakhel Youth Club (JYC) by 2-1. In the competitive match Ramesh  Ghising and Tanku Lama scored for SYC in the 18th minute and 44th minute respectively. Ram Thapa scored a consolation goal for JYC in the 68th minute of the match. Winning team started good football in the first half and they got an early free kick in the 2nd minute of the match but Raj Kumar Ghising failed to utilize the opportunity. SYC’s Surendra Thapa shot went little wide off the side pole in the 12th minute of the match, another good chance for SYC but Dinesh Karki’s flicked was saved by goalie Bikesh Kuthu in the 16th minute of the match. Ramesh Ghising scored for SYC utilizing a good pass of skipper Raj Kumar Ghising . JYC looked charged after they concede the goal and Pradeep Maharjan’s header went wide in the 20th minute of the match. Ajay Thapa’s and Sushil Sha’s shot were easily saved by SYC’s goalie Ashok Baral in the 26th minute and 27th minute of the match respectively.

Similarly, Pradeep  Maharjan’s brilliant shot was well saved by goalie Baral in the 38th minute. SYC took a lead again in the 44th minute when Tanku Lama’s solo effort kissed the net to make SYC 2-0. In the second half JYC looked aggressive and Subash Gurung’s kick was again beautifully saved by goalie Baral in the 58th minute of the match. Ram Thapa of JYC cut the deficit in the 68th minute of the match but was not enough to level the score they tried their best to level score but Ashok Baral was smart enough to deny. With this win, SYC have 7 points from four matches and JYC have 4 points from same matches.
In the second match, Armed Police Force (APF) beat Himalayan Sherpa Club (HSC) by 2-1 to earn 3 valuable points. Nabin Lama and Ranjan Bista scored for APF in the 58th minute and 60th minute respectively. APF concede an own goal in the 76th minute of the match. The first attempt came from APF in the 2nd minute of the match when Ranjan Bista’s shot was well saved by goalie Binaya Shrestha. Subash Gurung’s cross was well headed by African recruit Segun but was off target in the 3rd minute of the match. This match was competitive and both played attacking game one after another but first half ended goalless draw. In the second half APF score a goal in the 58th minute of the match when Nabin Lama’s super strike kissed the net and 2 minutes latter Ranjan Bista scored for APF to make score 2-0. HSC cut the deficit in the 76th minute of the match when Heman Gurung’s free kick was slightly touched by APF defender and APF concede own goal. In the 80th minute Subash Gurung of HSC was sent off. With this win APF have 9 points from four matches and HSC have 4 points from four matches.
