Three Stars from Three Star Club (TSC) scored a piece of goal each to upset Boys Union Club (BUC) 3-1 to earn valuable 3 points in A Division League 2070. Ace forward Santosh Shahukhala opened score sheet for TSC in the 45th minute of the match who utilized good pass from Prakash Budhathoki beating opponent goalie Raju Yogi. TSC played attacking football in the first half of the match, Jagjeet Shrestha’s free kick in the 8th minute went above the bar Similarly, Santosh Shahukhala’s free kick was beautifully punched by goalie Raju Yogi in the 11th minute of the match. BUC goalie Raju Yogi was enough to save ball of Santosh Shahukhla,Jagjeet Shrestha, Prakash Budhathoki, Bijaya Gurung in the first half. BUC’s only one chance came in first half in the 38th minute but forward Ashim Jung Karki was off target. BUC started second half quite better than first half and created a good chance in the 50th minute of the match but Akeem Baba Tunde’s shot was above the bar. Bijaya Gurung doubled the tally for Three Star in the 58th minute of the match who utilized a corner kick taken by Jagjeet Shrestha. Three Star made 2-0 to BUC who defeated Three Star by same score in Ncell Cup 2070. Jagjeet Shrestha triple the lead in the 84th minute to make score 3-0. Kamal Shrestha scored a consolation goal for BUC in the 87th minute of the match who utilized a superb free kick taken by Ashim Jung Karki to deficit score to 3-1. With this result defending champion TSC have 3 points from 1 match and BUC who was beaten by MMC in first match is pointless in two matches.
Meanwhile in the second match played Manang Marshyangdi Club (MMC) beat Armed Police Force (APF) by 3 goals. MMC started the game in a good note and forward Deepak Rai tried his luck from outside the box but his shot was blocked by defender Sachindra Dhimal in the 10th minute of match, MMC’s goal was caught offside in the 32th minute of the match. Deepak Rai opened a goal for MMC in the 41th minute with his solo effort to make score 1-0 up in the first half. After the half time MMC looked more aggressive and their foreign recruit Yona Elias scored second goal for MMC who utilized Sujal Shrestha’s superb free kick in the 65th minute of the match to make MMC 2-0 up and after a minute MMC triple their lead and this time Deepak Rai again scored for MMC who utilized Shiva Shrestha’s pass to make score 3-0. Departmental team APF were totally dumb in this match they failed to create good chances and they have conceded two goals in a mean of time. APF forward Ganesh Lawati was dumb in this match he was marked by MMC’s defender. With this win, MMC have 6 points from two matches and APF who defeated Friends Club in previous match have 3 points from two matches.
