Low lights: We were a very strong team in the 1997 first SAFF Championship. But we lost both the league matches 2-0 against Pakistan and 3-1 against Sri Lanka and crashed out of the tournament from the first round.
Toughest Opponents: Hari Khadka and Basanta Thapa. Both these forwards can surprise you with quick shots from anywhere I have conceded most goals in my career from these two.
Best player played with/ against: Mani Shah Dai. He was a gifted player who had the knack of supplying balls with perfection and superb left foot. We have not seen such a player in Nepali Football so far.
Best Influence: He used to play for fun and in his school days. Mani Dai, Azar Adhikari and Lok Bahadur Shahi used to play regularly in his school ground he tried to follow them.
