Interesting fact about World Cup 2018

The FIFA World Cup 2018 was the 21st edition of the world championship for men’s national football teams organized by FIFA, which was hosted by Russia and started from 14 June to 15 July 2018. Russia hosted the edition for the first time. 31 national teams qualified through qualification competitions to attend the race. A total of 64 matches were played in 12 different venues in Russia. France won the tournament, defeating Croatia by 4-2, the country’s second world title.

World Cup 2022 group list

Armed Police Force won Aaha Rara Gold Cup

 Armed Police Force (APF) won 20th   Aaha Rara Gold Cup 2078 beating Manang Marshyagdi Club (MMC) by 5-4 goals on Penalty Shoot Out.

APF started this tournament with win over Sahara Club by 2 goals which helps them to enter quarterfinal match. In the quarterfinal match they played against Bhutanese Youth Sports Club in which they won the match by 3 -1 goals. Their main tough match was against Machhindra Football Club in semifinal match but APF were successful to win the match by 3-1 goals.

In the other hand runner up MMC started this tournament with win over Chyasal Youth Club by 5 goals and again won the match against Satdobato Youth Club by 2-1 goals which helps them to enter in quarterfinal match. In the quarterfinal match they played against Nepal Police Club and they won it by 2 goals. In the semifinal match they got tough opponent Nepal Army Club in which they won on penalty shootout 4-3 to enter in the final match.
